Strong Schools

Lake Oswego's schools make this city a great place to raise a family.  Putting two kids through Forest Hills Elementary and no embarking at Lake Oswego Middle School, Suzanne has seen firsthand the dedicated educators that make Lake Oswego schools so special.

Suzanne sees the opportunities for the City to partner with the school district, parents, educators, and community organizations to keep our schools thriving.

Safe, Welcoming Neighborhoods

Suzanne moved to Lake Oswego to raise her family in a place where kids can ride their bikes, neighbors know one another, and people look out for each other.

Coming from a career in federal law enforcement, Suzanne values our police officers and firefighters.

Public safety is the bedrock of a healthy city.

But it is our neighbors that make this city thrive. Artists, gardeners, athletes, business owners bring the joy and vibrancy that makes Lake Oswego beautiful.

She is committed to listening every neighbor’s voice in the conversation.

A Thriving Environment

Suzanne came to Lake Oswego during the pandemic, as she and her daughters toured Oregon's parks.  They found George Rogers Park and just kept coming back!

The parks, waterways, and natural spaces are a big reason that Suzanne and her family decided to call Lake Oswego home.

As the city grows and changes, Suzanne wants to make sure we're taking care of them. She brings experience in environmental law and policy.  And a commitment to thinking ahead, listening to residents, and working with people who understand the issues.

A Healthy Local Economy

From Saturday mornings at the farmers market to summer concerts in the park to the holiday tree lighting, life in Lake Oswego sparkles when the community comes together.

Our local businesses help create those moments. They are places to gather, places to work, and places to connect.

Suzanne sees the city as a partner in helping local businesses thrive.

Growing initiatives like the Young Entrepreneur Program is one small idea that embodies a lot of what Suzanne loves about Lake Oswego: supporting local businesses, investing in kids, and creating opportunities for neighbors to connect.
